This question was knocked around a bit awhile ago. Poking around the Edmunds site, I found this in the '07 F150 options listing:
41H Engine Block Heater
(Available in all states with valid FIN code. Standard and only available in the following states: AK, MN, ND, SD, MT, WI and WY.)
Only available in those states.... another decision by Ford that I don't quite understand. It must be too complicated anymore to just sell a block heater to anyone that wants to order it, sheesh. We seem to be heading back to the "Any color you want as long as it's black" days.
It was suggested before to measure a freeze plug and buy one at an auto parts store.
