1946,1947 rear bumper

Anyone out there know what the rear bumper on a 1/2 ton looks like? is it the same as the front? or more like the smaller straight front bumper on a 38 pickup. I'm collecting parts to build a 46 ,anyone around Buffalo NY doing the same?maybe we can swap parts or storys, Tony or tony1960 on Ebay ,thanks!

Hi, I'm still looking for a catalog that has what you want I can't find anything newer than a 41. If I find one that I can compare it to the front or different years I'll post it here for you.

I have a brochure for 46 Ford trucks. Shows optional rear bumper. It looks the same as the front and has brackets that hang down. May be able to email a picture to you.

I have 2 1947 trucks. One is a keeper. Has chrome bumper in the front. I plan to install a stainless steel bumper on the rear but want to see the product before I buy it. C&G Ford Parts in Escondido has the SS bumper and brackets.
