Is anyone building anything like a T-bucket, or do we have a bunch of purists in here?

Actually, I was planning a 302 or a 351 ;-)
By purists, I meant originality... ya know, rebuilding Henry's Fords...

My brother-in-law's brother passed unsexpectedly recently and I was told that he had a basket case T Bucket in his garage. I asked the brother-in-law to ask her what she was going to do with it after she was over her grief. He came to me a couple of days later and told me she gave it to a junkyard for scrap!

AAuugghhhh!

Well; I got started on the T...
Since I wrecked the Monarch, dad says it's mine; SO, I've got a 302, C-4, 8.8" 3:1 rear, brakes and steering! Will begin stripping the car tomorrow, then weld a frame up (hopefully) within a month!

Andrew, One of these days I will get started on the 40 but so far I haven't had the time with wrecking the mustang right after I got it finished but that is back together now but I got a 68 mustang convertible now so it could be a little while longer. John

Well; I've got the interior of the monarch stripped as far as I'm taking it... and now for the T, I've got a steering column, which includes: ign switch, TS, Hazards, wipers, and washer. I've also got a light switch, a fuse block, and the P R N D 2 1 Thingy. I've clipped and labeled all the wires so I can use the wiring harness as well.

I've almost got the fuel tank out, but I've got to go to work, so that will have to wait until tomorrow.

Next to come out will be the rear end, and then the front spindles/power booster/MC. Next payday, the guy in the big brown race car will be bringing me a new cherry picker and engine stand. Then I'll pull the engine/tranny and start doing some real work :-)
