Help with High Beams on Headlights

I've tried it all... I have a weird situation. I have a 2000 F-150 SCAB 4x4 5.4L Lariat 7700. My headlights work... However if I need to flash my brights (push the turn signal forward) there are no brights... If I switch to brights completely (pull turn signal back) My headlights go off completely, no brights at all and no light at all. I've replaced the fuses associated with the headlights especially the brights. The brights require a 20A fuse which I replaced.. Any ideas? I'm stumped. Everything else works. The Fog Lamps, the DRL Autolamps, everything but my brights.

Help. Wicked winter weather is headed back into Oklahoma and I need some LIGHT!!!!!!

Pull off the cover for the switch, and check to see if the connector came loose from the switch. Otherwise, I suspect a switch.

The MAIN headlamp switch or the turn signal? I'm having trouble understanding how the main headlamp switch would have anything to do with the brights not working. I'm not doubting if you're correct, just not making that connection. I'll check though.

The Multi-function (turn signal) switch will most likely be your culprit.

Definitely the MFS, get one at NAPA for half the dealer price should be around $70. It will get worse and you will lose all your lights sooner than later.
