#2
Some people make me wonder to the point where my head hurts.
I saw that on the news last night. Boy do I love country life.
Also, have you ever heard about this place: http://www.dday4x4.com/ I heard about it on a different site about D-Day's paintball and I found the 4x4 stuff. Sounds neat.

Yesterday on the local news they showed a 90's model stock 4x4 Chebbie Blazer sitting in the middle of the river that runs through downtown OKC (thats oklahoma city for those that dont know) it was in the section of the river after the downtown dams, (the only offroad spot in central oklahoma) so the water was only up to the frame rails, not even touching the doors...somehow they managed to get stuck there, so these guys CALLED 911 AND HAD THE FIREMEN CARRY THEM ON THERE BACKS TO SHORE OUT OF THE 2 FOOT DEEP WATER!!!!!! the news called it a rescue, but the firemen were only up to there knees in still water....i couldnt believe my eyes and ears....ill bet money that stupidity will shut down the only spot left to wheel around here thats not an hours drive to the country.....makes me wanna slap someone....

From what I understand, there was a kid here in Owasso that took his dad's new honda (dealer tag still in window) for a spin. He wanted to see how fast he could go around corners. After losing control he went up the curb, through the fence, knocked the A/C unit off the pad into the back yard. He then proceded into the house right where all the electrical come in. Car was 1/2 in the house for several days. From what I've been told he hit the house so hard that it cracked the drywall all the way to the front door. Sure would hat to be that kid today.

I was at a friend's shop a year or two ago and there was a kid next door to him with a new F150 2WD that he was putting like 14" of lift and 44's on. Yes, I said 2WD. He had never had a lifted truck before and was struggling with installing the jungle gym of tubing needed for the front suspension. I asked him what he was going to do for a brake upgrade and he said the brakes would be fine. I laughed. I went back a month or two later and my friend said I was right about the brakes; the kid had run over two cars already. One because he couldn't stop and one because he didn't see it in front of him at a stop light.
