VIn Number

Hey guys I was looking into get some Ford trucks a 1946 and 1947. But I need to get the VIn Numbers to make sure they aren't stolen and be able to start the process to get them titles. I'm 21 and don't really no much about these older year trucks. Where could I find the Vin Number for these.

The VIN can be found in three places.
1. Top of the drivers side frame rail near the steering box.
2. On the top of the bell on the trans, you need to remove the floor over the trans to see it.
3. On a plate on the inside of the glovebox door.
