Circuit Breaker - '52 F-1

Have a short in the circuit breaker located under left hand corner of dash - have installed a "kill"
switch but would prefer to replace the circuit breaker. Anyone know where one might be available? Repond to PBruhn(No Email Addresses In Posts!) or post on pre-61 website. Thanks!!

You should be able to find a new one at any good "old" parts store, like a NAPA or Federated, don't know about autozone. I just bought some at a local parts store (affiliated with Federated) and they were around $7 each. They have small brackets spot welded on the back, so you'd screw them onto something like the firewall, but the spot welds grind off quick and easy without damaging the switch, and then you should be able to pop it into that bracket.

They had them in 15, 20, and 30 amp. I bought one of each, I've had a third slot in mine forever with no breaker in it, but think I'm gonna add some stuff and it may come in handy.

And I had no clue about that until you mentioned it. I wonder why I ended up on such an old post? I clicked on page 2 from the current posts page and saw the topic but didn't pay attention to the date. Oh well, blame the computer gremlins I guess. They get me a lot.

I think I might have figured it out. You must have tried to click on the previous page arrow and accidently clicked on last page. No harm done.
