1956-F3 6 LUG FRONT WHEELS

Just bought a 59 f350 dually, I have the 8 lug rear I want. I have collected parts for this truck for a long time. Still stumped after reading MANY posts on this matter. Can I 'simply' unbolt current spacers that are on the front and mount 8 lug to 8 lug adapters which I know I can get in order to have 8 lug and modern one piece wheels at both ends? I will start a thread on this truck soon, but work calls to me now. Proposed ... F350 with 9' flareside box, which I picked up off cl on a western desert trip, 92 f350 dually pickup rear end which I will run just the inners on (like my 53 f350 express i just sold) will be centered under those rear fenders. I have a cummins 6at turbo diesel, 220 cu in straight six from a ups truck. Very big project, but I've done lots of stuff. This project is a culmination of all the ford trucks of which I've wanted. Amongst other things it will tow our 58 Aloha travel trailer. Anybody gone 8 lug front? Thanks so much..... OK off to work

You'll have to put 8 lug hubs on the truck.
If you cannot find 8 lug hubs for that axle, you should put a different front axle (from either a newer 3/4T or 1T truck) that will accept 8 lug hubs.
Don't skimp on capability (and safety!). If you break a front spindle and kill someone the survivors Lawyer will have a "field-day"!!!.......it won't be pretty!
It sounds like you're really loading that truck!
