Exclamation pictures please

I am picking out new tires and would like to see pictures of your F250/F350 4X4 with stock wheels, 315/75/16 tires and only a 2.5inch leveling kit. I am most interested in the BF Goodrich All Terrain TA/KO but will take a look at whatever you have.

Thanks MAKO. I really wanted to get a mental picture of the overall tire stance with the stock rims because wider rims keep the highth down some. Nice looking truck by the way.

Great looking setup cc322 !

I'd like to get some Moto Metals, but if I want to keep my stock King Ranch rims (16x8), then it looks like I might be able to go with 315/75/16. I'm putting the DR 2" Mini-Spring pack on to level my '03 F250 FX4.

Your 315/70/16's look to be a little over 33" tall, I'm thinking. (315 x 70% = 220.5 mm sidewall height divided by 26.5 (inches conversion) = 8.32" sidewall height. 8.32" x 2 (top and bottom of tire sidewalls) + 17" (wheel size) = 33.6" overall tire height. Of course, I'm thinking your Moto's are 17x9" (not 17x8"). If by x9", then the overall height may be a little lower due to the wider wheel spreading the tire a little more?

If I use 315/75/16 on my stock 16x8, then I get roughly 33.8" overall height.

But I'd like to know real-world experience on that.

Thanks!
TX

Hey thanks for the nice words. Before you do anything really think what you want your truck to look like If I had to do over again, I would have gone with the 4" leaf spring kit from dr or the 4.5 hanger kit, I like my three inch kit from dr but now that it's all said and done I wish I would have gone a little higher 4.5". When I first did the lift I left the stock ford wheel on and put 295/75/16 it was nice but I kept thinking the tires looked a little small, so I changed over to a 17" wheel yes 17x9 4.5 motos and went with a 315/70/ 17 35 equivelent or just about. I am very pleases with the way it looks, allthough I do get a slight rub when I turn sharp and hit my suspension hard, no biggie though. Any how good luck and keep us posted. If you have any questions dont hesistate to ask. BTW my tires are 315/70/17 which measure to 34.5? 12.5 wide

Thanks for the feedback cc322 !

I'd really like to just level it and not get much higher. My benchmark has been my buddy's '02 F250 4x4 SC SB. He's got the camper package and the V10, so his front is almost perfectly level with the rear due to that lighter gasser. He's running 295's and while they do look much better than the stock 265's, I'd like to get just a slightly bigger tire overall. My brother-in-law runs 305/75/16's on his 16x8 Moto rip-offs on his F350 with a leveling kit and the 7.3L PSD. Granted, his 350 sits higher just due to the blocks, etc, but I think I'm pretty close to what I want.

I also pull a 32' RV so I don't want to get too high.

Thanks everyone!
TX
