I'd suggest any product from Westin. You get what you pay for and if you get a cheap bull/brush guard it will probably rust. $900 from your local accessory dealer sounds a bit steep. Expect to pay around $450 to $650 for a good quality unit.

i thought stainless wouldnt rust

i thought stainless wouldnt rust, atleast thats what I was tought. plus they say there is a lifetime warrenty. Im not trying to be cheap but at age 18 300 dollars is wayy more affordable than 550. I was just hoping that somebody on here has installed one.

It shouldn't...but I've seen plenty of items that claim to be "stainless steel" rust at the weld points over time. I've never heard of this outfit, but a quick google search shows that they are about 20 miles from where I live. If their claims hold true it looks to be a good product. Also, $300 is alot at 32 too

Go with a painted one from South Texas Outfitters. Not just looks but function. I killed 3 deer with one on my Superduty and never hurt the truck.............

its a great looking guard but I dont know that I can afford that right now. Maybe in the summer. But I am still considering the 300 with free shipping even if it lasts about 3 years. I am assuming the 550 was before shipping. What other brands do you guys and girls have or seen. No one with the ebay version huh?

I don't have the full blown brush guard, I have the Waag front runner bumper guard. It is S/S and was not that difficult to install but is did involve some work. I bought this one on e-bay for the low price of $115.00 that included shipping. I would've got it even cheaper if I would had gone to the Wagg webb site, this model of front runner was being discountinued and all there inventory was being sold at 75% off or more. You might want to check their webb site and see if they have any sales for your year and model.
Here is a pic of the one I have on my Expy.

Good luck on your purchase.

Take a vacation to San Antonio and pick one up!! Thats what i did! For me it was a no brainer, 3 deer x $750 insurance deductible = $2250 - the initial cost of $550 so the grill guard on my superduty saved me $1700.............

Call them tomarrow. They will give you all the info on the phone. They are all custom made to order. The paint is tremendous!! After 122K on my F250 it still looked brand new!

Thumbs up Sterling Equipment. These guys are great!!!

I've bought several of these over the years from Sterling Equipment here in Central Florida. Wade custom makes them in his own shop. The nicest thing is they are one piece welded units. The only bolts used are where they mount on your truck. This keeps any water out from the inside of the tubes and that keeps the rust away. He powdercoats all of them, so the paint looks great for years.

Give them a call, they are real nice to deal with and they ship all over the country.
