largest tires

Hi i have a 991/2 F-250 4x4 cc. I was wondering what was the largest tire i could fit on the truck 35'' ?. The truck has a single leef spring lift front and rear. Thank you for the help.

I could be wrong but I dont think 35" will fit without at least a leveling kit. 33" or 305 will be the largest. On the stock 7" wide rim 12.50" width is the widest the rim will hold. Hope this helps

The 35's should fit then. Maybe slight rub when you turn the wheel all the way to the right or left, that also depends on if you get an aggressive tread pattern. All Terrain should be fine.

Heres 305's on stock wheels at stock hieght. At right and left stop points there is just a little rub.

i know they are equal to a 33x12.50x16. they are the same height as a 285x75x16 just a little wider.

my 305/70r16's sit about 31.5-32 inches overall height.

33.1" on the BF Goodrich T/A's. it depends on the manufacturer to be exact

Hmm...I have those 285s on a stock suspension and no rub. Maybe I ought to measure that but they are about 50% tread now.

I am running 295x75x16 and i get rub at before both stop points, fairly aggresive mud snow. will be dong a 2 inch leaveing kit when i ned new tires and go up to 305 then. and hope no more rub

Keith did you know that a 295/75 is a taller and narrower tire than a 305/70 which is shorter but wider? Its only a half inch to an inch in either direction..

Also running BFG 295/75/16's on stock wheels with no rubbing issues.
