I'm having a problem that just started recently. I drive, park the car, come back try to start it and nothing. No clicking, no engine turning over, not a sound. However the car radio works, the dash lights come on so I know I'm getting power and the battery's not dead. I let it sit and later it started with no problem but it runs really rough. This happen one time. However I don't get any "check engine" codes. It just happened again tonight and I let it sit but it still won't start. Nothing at all just dead when I turn the key. But the dash lights are on the radio plays etc. Any Ideas what this might be. I've heard of a "dead spot" on starters before but I thought I should get at least a "click" out of it. Any suggestions would be appreciated

 

Do the headlights work?

Can you turn on the heater fan full blast at the same time?

Sorry it took so long to reply. Turns out just to be the battery. I asked my son a hundred times if there was any noise at all,even a click when he turn the key. Nope the answer every time. I got to the vehicle and when I turned the key it clicked. I jumped it and it started right off. Thanks for the help
