I dont think it's you. They feed off each other and the next new "look" that consumers are biting on. Remember 95 with the Rams new look? Ford then got away from the flat top hoods. And so did Chevy. Nowadays, they're all dropped by the headlights to varying degrees. And Dodge took the cue from big rigs. Ten years ago, did any come from the factory with a simulated fender flare? There's no patent on a fair curve :-)
Nissan Copied Ford Superduty Mirrors. NEW GMC TRUCK LOOKS LIKE A FORD SUPERDUTY. TUNDRAS Look like F150. GM Copied FORD mirrors as well. BUT FORD SUPERDUTY LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE DODGE RAM 10 yrs ago. NO WAY. SUPERDUTY LOOKS TOUGHER AND SITS HIGHER AND IS STRONGER

The new Tundra's looks nothing like a Ford F150...and for that I bow down and adore all the Gods that control such things! Nothing is uglier than the 2007 Tundra...uh...except the 1938 Hollywood Graham...it takes the Prize of all Time!

You might mean Graham Sharknose. Hollywoods were only built in 1940 and 1941.
