Emissons warning light
I thought I would add some photos and info on how to push the reset button to maybe help people a lot better than any information I could find out on the internet.
This entire process takes a couple minutes. On my 1987 F150 the module is located up above the door chime module, or to the left side of the radio if your sitting in the drivers seat. It is easiest to remove the fuse box cover to get to it. There is a round sticker on the module that says reset around the hole you stick the screw driver in. Finding the module is near impossible using the instructions in the manual. The other tricky thing is you don't push in and press a button, you slide an allen wrench (long side) in the hole or a screw driver if you can get it to fit up there by the steering column, and then push down on the button in the module. So the push button is down inside the hole in the module, not straight in like every other reset button you have ever seen. It was easiest for me to use my left hand to get the allen wrench in the hole, push down on the button, then turn the key on with my right hand (not to start but like your going to turn on your radio) wait about 5 seconds and then let off the button when the emissions light turns off. The emissions light will then work like normal going off shortly after you start your vehicle.
I can't remember how many times I have done this over the 30 years I have had my vehicle but this is the first time with my MAF conversion setup and new motor, 13 years and 35k miles on the new motor and computer. Here are some photos of the module.
