Wolverine69 is starting off with a positive reputation.

This starter doesn't appear to be a gear reduction one. It's not the one being discussed either.

Hey, I know this is an old post, but does anyone have any pictures of the actual starter, or can they get them, my just failed, so I searched, and I came up with this... I think I might try to get rid of my old starter if I can still get one of there bessies.

Guys, I got the 4Kv starter from DB Electrical (www.db-starter-alternator.com) installed and it works pretty well. I want to try it out on a cold morning before I do my final evaluation. I also got pictures of the old starter and new one, side by side and installed, so you can see how much of a size difference there is. I also might have to take it back out to grind down the engine x-member a tiny bit more as I only removed about 1/16th inch of metal. I'll let you guys know when I have the pictures uploaded.
