Folding Tonneau Covers

I just wanted to get everyone's thoughts on the best Folding Tonneau cover around in the $300 price range. I'm brand new to the site, and love it so far. I have a 2005 F-150 STX Flareside and I'm finally getting around to adding the tonneau and bedliner...

looking forward to hearing from everyone...

I just bought a Undercover for a 5.5' bed for $577.00 INCLUDING SHIPPING! I got it at the F-150 Store. Their prices are about the lowest you will find.

prs,

Try the f-150 Store. Great prices, low shipping costs....

Don't forget to look at the Extang Trifecta or Lund's folding version. I think they are the same. I ordered a Trifecta and like it a lot. It releases quickly and easily and the bows are not to "bowed" so it looks a little flatter than a regular soft cover.

Good luck,
Jason

Yeah, I was looking at the Extang and the Lund Trifolds, both were in the same range, but it seemed like the LUND had a little lower profile look to it. Glad to hear that the Extang is still low profile as well.

Thanks Ochoada

what about the velcro on the extang covers. does that wear out/lose its grip when filled with dirt?

The folding covers do not have velcro. You may be thinking of the roll top type.

I have an Advance Cover folding cover on my truck for about a year and a half and am very happy with it. Although not complely waterproof, I will say I get very little water in there at all. All in all - very well sealed. I also looked at the Fold-A-Cover. In my opinion, the Advance cover is better made.
Here's my post after seeing a fold-a-cover in Aug '05.

https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/4...ver-today.html

Also, I was considering a roll-top cover, but didn't want to lose the storage space in the front of the bed. I also wanted something easily removable. The folding type cover is exactly what I was looking for.

I have an Agricover access role up cover. They work really well and fairly easy to install. I've had them on three different trucks and most of my family uses this cover. They are very tough and I believe they have a lifetime warranty.

Here is a deal for ya. It's for a Access Literider tonneau cover. I ordered one last week. Fast FREE shipping, and the product is what it says it is. I was hesitant, because I couldn't find anyone else near this price.
$278 shipped. This is my 3rd one and they have all worked perfect.

I bought a LUND trifold for my 2001 f150 and the fit is lousy and one of the hinges has broken already
