Clean, lint free glass

I know this has been beat to death, but I have been trying several combos to get my glass clean. I can't find anything that doesn't leave lint. I have tried micro fiber towels, paper towels, baby diapers (seem to work best) and some space age super paper towel. They all clean well, but will leave lint that shows up in the sun light. While my truck is still new I am being kind of anal about keeping it clean. I just can't find a method for the glass. Any ideas?

As you mentioned..... Nothing beats a good ol' diaper. If there's something better, please post it to all.

Newspaper.

Don't knock it until you try it. I use it all the time. Cheap. No lint. Use a clean page for every section of window.
It will not leave ink anywhere.

Just spray your glass and lightly crumple a sheet into your hand. Wiping it around the glass will flatten it for a good, clean swipe. Can be turned over and the other side of the wad used.

I'll be expecting some rep points for this one...........

Out of everything I have used over the years and I tried almost everything, newspapers work the best for me also.

1 more point for the newspaper, as i am a long term subscriber to my local paper just for the benefits of using the paper as towels

I always use the pages from outdated auto trader magazines. You know... the free ones. They have the newspaper type pages, and also work very well. The other good side to it is, if you grab one about every time you fuel up, and then wind up leaving it in your truck, you've always got one.

I am a newspaper user as well. Nothing like they way they leave the windows. Another secrets is change often while cleaning the windows. If they get to soggy they start falling apart. I usually wipe them dry with one side and finish them with the dry side.

Aside from the wiping medium of choice, I have found that a product called "Invisible Glass" does a supurb job of cleaning... much better than Windex, soap and water, alcohol, etc.

Have you tried a waffle weave microfiber? You can get 2 of them for under $3 at sprawl*mart in the housewares section. Waffle weave mf seems to work well, along with a good cleaner. Might have to wash them beforehand to avoid linting.

I second the coffee filter. Used to use that in retail stores when clean display glass was expected.

I have used newspaper for years on classic vehicles. It knocks down the small, stuck on particles and smooths the edges of pits. No lint and cheap.
