6637 filter cross reference.

Here's the cross reference for the Wix 46637 filter. Found the Baldwin brand at a local parts warehouse for $19.99. Said they were over stocked. The Baldwin number is PA2818.

Is it actually the same length? I got the feeling the Baldwins were about a half-inch longer.

Things are so close-fitting now, I'm not sure I can make that one fit if it's any longer.

I don't know. I've never seen the Wix and I won't pick up the Baldwin until tomorrow. How long is the Wix?

FleetFilter.com sells the Duralite 546637 (DC252WA) for around $20. Filter and housong length is 11.5 inches, diameter is 8.5 inches. Add about 1.25 inches for the collar the 4" pipe fits into.

Bob

I think you mean the flat panel filter that comes stock.
They are talking about an aftermarket filter/intake setup that uses the NAPA 6637 filter.

I couldn't use that cause now the 6637 barely fits and my intake flex hose has to touch the intercoller line, but it has the heat shield on it and stays cool to the touch.

I just called Carquest and am picking my filter up here in an hour or two. I'll take pictures and let you know how it fits.

By all means post back with the lengths and costs of any filters you get. Pics would be nice too.
