Unhappy Short bed take off bed

I am in desperate need of one in very good shape.
F-250/F350 1997 to 2003 truck is diesel if that matters.
Red would be nice LOL.
If anyone knows of a place within 300 or so miles of Athens Ohio let me know.
Thanks, KO

Check your yellow pages (the book or online) for any companies that do flat & utility bed conversions. They usually have truck boxes floating around from their conversions.

It would be a difficult find. There are tons of dually/8 foot take offs on EBay but not a single short bed. Try local salvage yard. If you are looking for 1997 to 1998 then changes are good. But for 99-03 or 99-07 would be tough in SB. Just my though...

As Far as I understand, yes, 99 to 07 all beds are same i.e. SRW to SRW and DRW to DRW.

If that doesn't work just slap a flatbed on it. Alot cheaper and a ton more storage and options. I would never go back to a box.

I used to own a Dodge PowerWagon many, many years ago that got hit in the rear. I kept the insurance money and built my own bed from steel and made the bedfloor from 2X6's. Came out nice and I used it for another 5 years.
