Hi Timmy,
I was suprised to find color codes for the 1956 listed in the book I have called "Catalog of American Light Duty Trucks", but I don't see anything listed for for "W". Heres what they have listed:
A = Raven Black
B = Dark Blue
D = Light Blue
E = Colonial White
G = Light Green
H = Gray
M = Yellow
P = Primer
R = Vermilion
S = Special Finish
U = Meadow Green
I don't know why they skip letters, or why they don't show "W" as a color. This book is not exclusive to only Fords, so maybe it's wrong? Wish I knew, I'd like to help you.
