292 to 312 swap

I am swapping out my 292 with a 312 in my 57 F250 4 speed (Big Blue Box). The 312 is from a T-bird. I am having problems with my clutch/ release bearing has anyone had this enlightning experience before, and if so whats the fix. Oh by the way I am looking for a dipstick and would be willing to pay a small phenominal fee for it.

y-block, what kind of problems are you experiencing with it? If you post a more detailed explaination, someone may be able to help you better.

292 to 312 swap

You probably won't recognize me, I usually hang out in 61-79, and I moderate General engine Building. I have a '64 F-250 with a 292, which at 121,xxx (possibly 221,xxx, but unlikely) is getting tired. What are your plans for your old 292? I would like to have an engine to be rebuilding while I drive on my current one...
