56 4 x 4 M&H
Hi truckfarmer, I couldn't even give a good guess on what the chassis and running gear would be worth, but I do know that a '56 Marmon Harrington 4x4 conversion with the i.d. tags in place would be a rare find these days. If it were me and the selling price sounded reasonable, I'd rescue it, replace the body, and do an all original ground up restore on it.

A few hundred would be a steal, but I suspect that the owner does know it's worth or perhaps it may have some sentimental value. That's usually why these things sit, not because no one else ever saw it before. Just my humble opinion of course. :-)

Just to add... I sat a Harmon Kardon conversion at a Car Show at San Francisco Golden Gate park. It was a ford Sedan pasanger car built for a utility co. Yes 4x4...
There was no price on it.But i herd Many people say that they would match his asking price if he had one.. 3,000 would not be un unusual.... It was original but Not Fully restored It was driven to the show!
