regearing

is it a good idea to regear a ford f-150 to get more power to pull a 8500 toy hauler?

I am pulling 6700lb (dry weight) 5th wheel with stock 3.73 with very little problems.

Give us more specs reg cab super cab crew? gears?, engine any mods and what not
