53 F100 steering change help needed
I have a stock f100 and i wish to convert it to power steering,Isaw it done in a hot rod mag many years ago.
I am looking to find out what steering box,drag link,tie rods.etc. I need to do this.
I have a 351/c6 under the hood so space is limited.
any info or leads will be apprecated HELP

If your looking for a junkyard do it yourself setup, I believe
you are going to have to engineer it yourself. If you have a
f100 then you should have some vendors catalogs where you have
been buying parts. These places have kits/brackets for
conversions and they tell you what you need. I've seen kits
for GM saginaw boxes, Toyota boxes, and power assist systems
that use the original steering box.

Bob's F-100 sells everything you need or you can go to the junk yard and get a steering box for an 85 Toyota 4X4. Also get the hoses. Then you will only have to purchase the bracket from Bob's for around $125.00. He also sell the pitman arm with the ford/Toyota combination. to fit the drag link and steering box. The complete packet is around $800. His number is (909)681-1955
