Shoot, I was hoping that they rubbed like crazy. Now I have to think about getting a 6" DR lift and 38" tires. That is on of the best combos I've ever seen. Those tires fit the truck prefectly. Oh, and no problem with the pic. You have to go into your gallery, click the picture you want (it will open the pic larger and in a different window), then click "forum codes" below the picture, and finally copy and paste the forum code into your reply and it'll show up. It's a lot easier than it sounds.

If you don't want any rubbing you'll need to run a 8" DR to clear 38s.
DR springs flex a lot more than other brands and you WILL rearrange sheetmetal if you try and run a 38/14.50 or 38/15.50 under a DR 6".

I thought so. I'm still thinking of just staying with a 4.5" system. Just enough lift to satisfy me and still good for a daily driver an regular trailer tower.

Don't change a thing.

cdrmotorsports I would not change a thing your truck looks great! I just owned a 93' F250 7.3 4x4, ended up with 350,000miles stock (ran like new). One day I was drivin (a little faster than I should have) down a nasty muddy road and she got away from me and we ended up in the ditch. F250 would not even budge, water was comin in the door, started raining harder and my dog done run oft(ha,ha), I had to wait two hours for buddy to come pull me out. I told myself never again. Hence the F350 of my dreams, still a work in progress, I mean money don't grow on trees ya know. I don't mind gettin stuck just don't want that darn water comin in again.

What size wheels and tires are putting on your vehicle? And how much did you lift it?

I have an 8" Donahoe "Edge" lift with a 1" shackle in the front. I am currently running 17X10 Eagle Alloys with 37X14.50r17 Toyo Open Country A/T's. I just ordered 18X9 Centerlines and will most likely use A BFG 37X12.50R18 on those. But I'm not entirely set on that yet...

I looked at their website and it appears they have 2 Open Country tires in 40s. One for 20" rims and the other for 22".

40x15.50R20 130Q D/8

and

40x15.50R22 127Q D/8

I looked at the website and the Dirt Grip only goes to 38's I could be wrong only had time for a glance. Thanks for the comp. I'm glad I don't want to go to 40's it was hard enough to find tires in 16.5.

I appreciate the advise, I'll take a look, I was possibly thinking of going 2" higher and 40's but we will see.
