Question Coil Pack Noise Capacitor

I Have An 01 Ranger Xlt Auto With 3.0, I Want To Know How To Check The Noise Capacitor For The Coil Pack And To Know Where It Is Located..

You can't always get a reliable reading from a capacitor when you check it. The best way to check it is to see if you get any static on the radio from an AM station with the engine running and if the static goes higher in sound when the engine rpm goes up. The capacitor is usually located close to the coil pack and possibly mounted to the coil pack support with a small screw. If you think it's bad you should be able to get one from a local parts store. They're only a couple of bucks or so.
