57 F100 MAGICAIRE heater control panel
Thanks Kenny,
I seem to be having just a little bit of a problem locating that salvage yard that has a abundance of 1957 trucks. If you could point me in the right dirtection I would appreciate it. Down here (Pensacola FL) I have yet to find even one 57. Px #'s would be fine.
Thanks Charles

Charles, Check with Gilly's in California http://www.gillys.com or Canyon Truck (Canon City, Co.) 1-719-275-5236. They might be able to help you. Also, go to http://www.ebay.com and do a search for "Magicaire". With E-bay, you have to check back often because items are added every day. I have found some pretty rare stuff there, like a 1959 Ford truck "power steering" horn ring. Regular ones are hard enough to find! Hope this helps, and good luck in your search!

my friends junk yard here in Idaho has the heater control panel. Its on a '59 F-1000. it looks to be in good shape and has some of the white paint chipped off. It has the chrome under the paint......

There is a decent picture in the 57 shop manual. The top one of the controls goes to the far right top of the heater box and it allows "the selection of outside air for ventilation or defrosting" Straight from the shop manual. The bottom control I believe goes to a heater control mounted near the regulater on the right inner fender panel.
