Keep it up guys..... just keep pushin...... geez with this kind of attitude that is going on in this thread....

we will be forced to take action against each and every one of you and it will not be pretty.......

hmmm I think the fitting punishment will to make you guys get aplace of your own, yep thats it......with a very long sentence of building that place up as your own....

I will put in to get this set up, it may take abit to create it, but don't slow down none in keeping the momentum going.

Dennis geez , you know that they make happy pills now? how about some positive encouragement instead?

BTW DE guys keep in mind what Beast has said

My two cents, Matt I really appreciate all of the help you have given me in trying to get the new chapter started. You, Fred, and Ray have been a tremendous help.

It is important to say, none of this would have happened without the friendly push from Greywolf and the Tennessee Chapter. And thank you Ken for your inquiring mind.

I have read, reread, slept with, discussed in my sleep, the Starting a Chapter and chapter overview and rules posted on FTE. Item 1. states: "In order to start a Chapter you must have a minimum of 5 FTE members willing to join. Each member must be an Active FTE user for at least 30 days. The member organizing the Chapter must be an FTE user for at least 60 days."

It must be an assumption that the requirement is that the 5 FTE members must be from the new chapter's state. My suggestion that would be to require maybe 10 recommendations from respected FTE members that support the formation and need of a new chapter.

In another old quote, "Build It And They Will Come", once you get your name on the board, it would sure seem to me that it would be much easier to build up the chapter rolls, than having to send pm's to prospects and hope you don't miss someone and make them mad. Also makes the links easier to maintain EH Matt?

I am a stickler for details and try my best to follow the instructions. And that's all I have to say about this matter.

So Matt, are you in?

Oh, the priviledges are what we(the chapter members) chose them to be. Of course subject to the scrutiny of Ray, Fred or Matt. hehehe

Looks like it's going to happen George. As for that prospecting for new members, I couldn't get a list of just Pennsylvania people on FTE so I started at page one and wrote down Pa. peoples names and Pm'd them. That is a lot of work, but somebody has to do it. I still haven't been through the entire FTE members list's yet, three hundred thousand plus registered users on FTE. Get a copy book, sharpen your pencils and PM away. Make sure you do the 5 at a time and copy, paste your message.

Thanks Joe, I sent out 70+ pms. If you click on the Members List, and then to "Search Members, ADVANCED SEARCH", you can specify just the state and get a listing of the PA only members. I ended on having to sort by "Joined Date" in order to access page 2, etc. because if I didn't the list would reset to the full FTE Membership Roster. Hope this helps you.

Forgot, if you right click on each page you can print the listing to save alot of writing. The method to my madess was to pm all DE members who joined within the last two months and those who had posted this year. I figured that if no posts had been made this year then they probably are not active anymore. Could be wrong but that was my reasoning.
