Thanks! Right place. Wrong loop. It was the 800 this time. I had approximately 2 weeks down at the Fort. The wife and daughter flew in a couple of days after I got there. And yes we enjoyed ourselves there.

I usually hang out in the Super Duty and V10 Forums, but I thought I would wander over here after our recent purchase. My wife found us this 1977 19' Layton a few weeks ago. It isn't that pretty, but it's in great condition, clean inside, newer tires, and everything works.
We were getting tired of tent camping with two little girls, so decided to start looking for an old 1970's or early 80's camper since they are cheap, but well built. We plan on fixing it up and keeping it for a few years and then upgrading to something bigger (25'+). We didn't want to finance our fun though , so this was perfect since it was ready to use, and the 350 hardly knows it's back there. A big advantage when doing a lot of camping in the Sierra Nevada's. Now I just need to do an axle flip so I can actually get into some of our dry camping locations without inadvertently removing the waste water plumbing.
This is from our first camping trip on the weekend before Veteran's Day at Diaz Lake outside of Lonepine CA. Beautiful weather and not too far from home.
