Ha Ha ! Mr CMK :0
This hardly counts, I know....
but the stepson and I traded trucks so he could tow his 4wheeler to elk hunt in colorado this week...
but the second pic is his truck I HAVE to drive this week - tuned 6.2L baby
that thing rides like a cadillac and will SCOOT !
(and in case you didn't know, those tires are 315/70's !!! monster tread)

How about using the truck bed?
Nice trucks though

Agreed. But it also depends on how many elk you get and how big. Still not a lot of weight but I guess if you might scratch up a truck hunting it might as well be a friend's

4 wheeler wouldn't fit in the truck bed... and his raptor needs some work ---
tires had not been rotated so those big meats were cupped and roaring ---
drives me crazy just running around town...
that wide a tire would be not so fun in the ice/snow too (I would guess)
so I (and the many people depending on him) would rather he be safe !
besides it gave me something fun to drive for a few days

Thanks, guys.
I think a 33ft 5th wheel is a little much for my truck. Maybe if I get to build my dream 445 FE stroker engine.
My camper's total length is 31', the dry weight is 5850lbs. When we load for camping it's close to 6500lbs. The engine is a stock 390, it pulls well but I don't want anymore weight.

Being perfectly honest here....
If the brakes went out on my 18k trailer while headed down any sizeable hill, the brakes on my truck alone would not be sufficient to stop that trailer in any sort of reasonable distance... They would merely slow the whole mess down so you could maintain some directional control and lessen the impact..
