I have been pulling an 02 Wildcat 28BH up and down the coast to Canada (my family) and out west to Houma LA where my wife has family, average about 12.7mph @ 74mph, and when we are cruising at 85mph with trailer it gets about 11.5mph. The combined weight of trailer, kids, cargo, fuel and accessories comes in at approx 22k combined. Need to get the Transfer flow 100gallon tank to assist with the trips to Canada, diesel is running about $1.01 a litre or $3.82CAD a US gallon

Not to judge but 85mph with 22k is a bit fast! I hate being the weight or speed police but occasionaly I cann't help it!
Yukon, like I said before the wifey just doesn't understand that you have to jump on a good deal when you find one, lol (that how I end up with two last summer anyway)! Yep, the one we looked at was the full living room/kitchen in the back and single bed up on top with the 16ft slideout. The price around here in ND is usually up towards $10k-$12k on a unit like that, simmilar to what you guys get over there. Nice camper though!
The TT Boat combo isn't bad but you have to be particular about how you have things set up. This is the second rig I've done it with and haven't had any probelms but I try not to push the envolope either, I usually keep it right around 60-65mph and only touch 70mph every now and again when I'm not watching the speedo and the right foot gets a little heavy, lol!

Kwikkordead, how much would I be looking at for the Transfer flow tank, just started looking into it but no one seems willing to part with pricing information until you sign the dotted line.
SLE, the cruise at 85mph is easy to do when you get in with the semi's up and down I-81 to Canada, have cobra radar and twin whips with Galaxy radio to talk with Big brothers, but overall this speed is reserved for 1am-5am when everyone else is asleep or off the interstate. Normal cruising speed is at 74mph.

The pic in my gallery of the 4.2 F150 towing the coachman we can only guess, as NADA doesnt go back that far, and can't find any of the liturature on it. But he said it felt quite a bit heavier than the 3195 lb. sunline he towed ( in the other gallery pic) but quite manageable. And it has to be lighter than my Fifth wheel. It was towed with a 1992 explorer eddie bauer prior to that truck. So I figure that one to be around 3500 lbs.
