F-150 Suggestion to Ford

Why not produce an F-150 that has the option of both crew cab and the 8 foot bed?

F-150 Suggestion to Ford

Or at least a crew cab with the normal looking 6 3/4' bed, id buy one then. I just cant get used to the looks of the little box on those things. Looks a little too much like a stepside to me. Im looking for a crewcab, but i dont need the SD chasis. Guess ill have to go GM to get something like that.

I think Ford would sell more F-150's if they offered that. I know when I was looking if there was a more truckish looking F-150 available with both cc and long bed I would have bought one.

All in all I love my F-350. Maybe the Ford doesn't loose the customer looking for a CC 8ft bed F-350-- they just buy an F-250 or F-350.

My suggestion is to bring back vent windows and a solid front axle.

Why not go back to mechanical brakes and vacuum wipers, too!

Hey, I had a 79 Bronco and it was great IN IT'S DAY.

But my 2002 F-150 is better in every way. It's called progress.

I agree, offer at least the 6.5' bed with the Supercrew. And how about a 5 speed too. A 5 speed 5.4 would be really nice too.

F-150 Suggestion to Ford

Good question. I asked my Ford dealer and he said lots of people had asked the question. My son wants a crew cab but the short box is too small for his ATV.

I didn't say go backwards as far as technology, I was just saying bring back the solid front axle. In case you dont know, they are must stronger than an IFS and cost less to maintain. The vent windows work much better than the current windows. You can control the air coming in the cab with them.

Don't use plastic on the exterior styling, chrome styling looks a lot better.

Solid front axles give horrible rides. If you want one, drive a UPS van!

F-150 Suggestion to Ford

True solid does give a much more "truck like ride" But I sorta like having it that way sometimes. I'am up for progress but im not a huge fan of the Independant suspension deal in trucks.

But anway. I would like it if they took away the extra styling around the real wheel wells. Used less plastic, offered a manual trans with all engines, and would give me one fore free (okay, I can dream though).

In my opinion, a truck should ride like a truck. If you wanted a plush ride, you should have a car.
4x4's should have a solid fron axle. Stronger is always better.
