Oil Guage and Light

I have a 03 F-150 w/5.4, when driving down the road I lose oil pressure and the light comes on, but there is no knocking, also I can turn the truck off and re-start it and everything returns to normal. Any ideas?

Replace the oil pressure sending switch and retest.

This is a commonly asked question. Poke around some.
