The initial photos were poor and the yellow thing posted above is an abomination. For a good shot of the basic truck, go here (official Ford site as advertized on FTE):
http://www.fordvehicles.com/allnewf150/gallery/photos/index.asp?nNode=08&bhcp=1
I selected the second photo in the second row. It should be larger on the right (if not click on the second truck in row 2). This looks better than the SuperDuty.

I like the look of the 2004 better than my 2000, kind of thought that's the way that Ford would have went in '97.
Having myself owned or my dad owned trucks from just about every body style since the early 70's, I'd say the worst looking was the '87-'91 with the aero nose and then the '97-'03 and it's aero effects.
Now having said that, I'd rather drive those trucks with their reliability and looks over any other manufacturers vehicles. I know them best and love them regardless.
-Kerry (yeah, I'm a softy when it comes to my trucks, LOL)

Would anyone like to hear a comment that was made towards the 2004 F-150 that was overheard by me at the Detroit Car Show ?

Probably a comment by a top Ch**y executive about how they're in deep trouble and because this new F150 is going to walk all over them.
Or a Nissan exec, dumbfounded, saying how they thought they had such a great looking truck for their new full sized pickup--until they saw the F150.
Or a Dodge exec staring at the grille of the new F150, saying how they guess their grill does look a little grotesque.

I overheard what I believe were media type's say:
"FORD should get more in touch with its feminine side, this new truck is far too manly(or Masculine) looking".
