First time in 9 months, we rolled it out of the garage *pics*

Well. I started this project in March and this is the first time we have rolled it out of the garage since then.

Since march i have done the following:

lowered the rear end, c-notched it,
installed a Heidt's MII front crossmember,
fabricated motor mounts for a 302, installed a 302
fabricated the transmission mounts for c4, installed c4 shift linkage..etc..etc
put a flaming river steering column on it,
redid the interior
filled numerous holes
put new cab mounts on.

My rear wheels are on back order and will arrive the first week of January. so please ignore the crazy 32 inch tires on the back, it kind of decieves you on how it will look because it causes it to have an insane rake right now. It also makes the front wheels look tiny tiny, but i assure you they will look good when the rear wheels arrive

(thats me)

That's looking good! You've done a lot this year!

That glass front end is impressive -- did you do that? It really has a clean look, and the fit is very impressive. Do you know what company made it?

How's about a close-up of your wheels. Kinda looks like a bead lock type wheel. Can you elaborate on what you've got. The more I look the more I likes!

I love the clean look of the front end and the ride height. I don't run a front bumper either.

Mongo likeee.

That is one sleek-looking Effie. If the rest matches the front, you've got an impressive truck there!

I looked at the first pic and said to myself - that bugger has a 3 car garage! That just ain't fair! ...but I figured it out..... Great stance on the nose, just watch out for speed bumps

That's a nice truck. But I sure would to see pics of it with the front open so we could see the engine. Very nice.

i will get those for you soon, there is a bit of "tweaking" needed there, as you know these front ends are a pain.

for whoever asked, the fibreglass front end came with the truck when i bought it, i believe it is a fairlane.

here are some more pictures:

this is of myself and my soon to be brother in law:

Things to note: the steering is not at all aligned yet, neither is the camber. I need to run my brake lines, finish the engine and wire the engine. The wires are already to go, zip tied to the frame.

The wheels have false bead locks on them and are Cragar Black Widow D's..

Ben, I thought you had a '56? Is that a small window 56 with a 55 grille?
