Okay, that was dumb. Fevers been no lower than 102 the past couple days and now I gotta go to Mom's to help her get the groceries in the house. I'm on call cause I'm too sick to work, but they can't fill my spot; Hmmph. Be back in a little while to get this thing started right.

500 on the Aero Commander (Shrike?)? Looks like it's maybe missing a window or two for that model though ... at one time, and many, many moons ago I could name darn near every airplane that was ever built. Age is catching up I suppose!

I've always loved watching Bob Hoover do his engine out routine with his Commander, awesome stuff.

Didn't Scott Crossfiled fly the X-15, but after REALLY looking at the picture would that be Neil "one small step" Armstrong?
