I finally now have my Vin issued and my truck has been scheduled for 2/12 (delay due to the goodyear strike). Does anyone know if there is a way to track your trucks progress thru the plant?? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys! Ford Rules!!
Im not sure about a web site. IN the past i could take the vin# and give it to a guy and he would pull it on the computer at work and be able to tell where it is or when it is supposed to be built. If there is a web site outside the plant i would like to know it because that would be easier. When i go back to work i'll ask around and see what i can come up with about a web site.
Tried the web page https://fleet.ford.com to track a 2008 SD vin number and couldn't access the page. Can someone give more detail on how to track the vin number on a PC while the 2008 SD is in production. This will save me from bugging the dealership which is 50 miles away.
