Moisture Problem Help!!!

1995 Ford Clubwagon Van; 7.5 L, runs awesome. One exception: when it rains or the air is full of moisture, it will turn over but will not start. Just as soon as the air warms up, it starts immediately.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

It does sound like a moisture problem. It could be in the wires or the cap and rotor may not be sealing. If you don't know when the last tune up was done it's time to do one. This means Motorcraft COPPER plugs (the older ford engines HATE platinums), either dealer wires or get them from napa or carquest PAY for them. Don't buy the ~$30 set you'll be sorry in about six months when it's doing again, get the ~$65 set. Same with the cap and rotor PAY for them. The more you spend on these the better quality they are and the less likely you'll have to replace them for a couple of years.

Been a while, but I finally got to work on the 7.5. Removed the Distributor cap & all the contacts were corroded, also the rotor button. Cleaned them & reinstalled & everything worked fine.

Thanks for the replies.
