The GP's I purchased from OReilly's are about 2 inches shorter than the originals. Did they screw up or is this a new style?

Okay my last question for the day... My originals are oily as hell... I did remove all oil from around them before removal. Any thoughts? Can you check compression on a diesel? Thanks again.

you want to stay with the ford part on this cause there are some crappy after market products out there that can break off and damage your piston (as I have seen in other posts)

the oil is just residue from pulling them out more than likely. You can test compression but it requires a high pressure gauge, atleast 500psi, and an adapter that goes in the glow plug hole
