Smile removing drivers side window and vent windows

I have an old 62 econoline van and want to put new window channels and rubber in the windows but have never removed a window before.

I need some tips before I start this project. Anyone with tips or advice will be much appreciated.

first, get your new kit and look at how everything fits back in. this will give you a lot of insight on how it comes apart.
2nd, work slowly and carefully on only 1 window at a time. this will cut down on mistakes and problems.
3rd, use somesort of lube when reinstalling everything. i use wire pulling lube, [i am an electrician,]. use only water based lubes, that way you have easy cleanup and nothing to cotaminate the area around where you are working if you are going to paint.
