Hello all,

I was wondering if there was a good place to find new or used Ford Service/Shop manuals - specifically for a 1998 F150/250 pickup. I want to stay away from the Chilton manuals. I have seen some on eBay, but I'm a little nervous about getting what I paid for. I was hoping to find a reliable source that offers a retail version of the Ford Factory Service/Shop manuals. It might cost a little more, but that's ok. Has anyone on this forum had success finding these manuals on eBay? Any ideas or information is appreciated.

I would go to a trusted seller on ebay. Maybe post a wanted add in the classifieds on FTE too.

 

There are copies of the Helms service CDs on ebay every day for a few bucks or you can download a copy from www.fordcds.com for free and burn your own.

I've bought hard copies of various manuals from several ebay sellers. One that goes by the screen name of lorrieandjeff (IIRC) or something similar has done very well for me.
