We want to put the body of our 1950 ford on a newer chassis.
a 83 ranger has been suggested, and we're looking for one.
However, we already have a chevy s10 chassis -- would that work?
if yes, any tips, guidance, etc., would also be appreciated.

Why in the world would anyone want to ruin the worlds best truck by putting a belly button truck under it? If you really want a Chevy, buy a Chevy. No offense, but too many Fords have been destroyed already with non-Ford parts.

 

Ford Rangers or full size F100 can all be made to fit given enough time knowledge and money. Aman, keep it all Ford. That is definitely becoming the trend and will potentially enhance the value.
