Red face 19.5 wheels on F250

Does anyone have experience with 19.5 inch wheels and tires on an F250 or 350. I'm looking at Rixon.com and the idea is tempting. I seek the towing stability of a DRW truck with single wheels. If you have tried then what was your experience? Thanks

Are you talking about the baby-semi truck tires like the F-550's have? They are HEAVY.

I can say they're in the midst of a shop / company wide reorganisation to some extent. You can order now but you might wait a bit for the wheels to get made. In all fairness, at least they'll tell you that so you know what to expect.
I wish I could tell you more, but I'm waiting on mine. The tires are here, the wheels . . . mid Jan maybe?
If you're in no rush, I'll tell ya more when they arrive. Confirm the heavy part. I'm estimating 140lbs per wheel/tire. Might want to consider steering stabilisers.
If you want to talk to someone more about them, the people at Rickson are pretty approachable. Heather or Dave, either can give you the straight scoop.
I would say if you do it check prices locally on the tires. I saved a decent amount by getting rubber here.

No these are either steel or aluminum wheels that look very nice and close to stock. They are 19.5 inch and allow you to use 19.5 inch commerical type tires which should wear much better and provide a lot more stability then 16inch. They even sell an adaptor to correct the speedometer. They are expensive $2500 +/-) but I want to tow a heavier 5er and they are not as expensive as buying a dooly. Besides, I love my truck and don't want to trade, I just got it broken in good (100K).
