I need a source for the grey plastic bushing that goes on the post bolted to the door jamb that the door closes onto. I hope yall can tell the piece I am talking about. It causes the door to seem like it isnt shut but there is just play in the door cause this bushing is gone. I have looked in junkyards and the ones I have found are just as bad as mine or gone. thanks scott

 

I may have a few spare and yes, I know what part you mean. The door will rattle w/o out it. The gray piece is like a plastie sleeve that wraps around the post part. Until I go the new one, I just tapped around it several times cause the door rattle drive me nuts until I picked up a new one

 

You can get new ones made by Motormite.

They are in the HELP! section of most auto part chain stores, and small independants.

 

Or if you're really resourceful (cheap) like me, a piece of 1/2" PVC works good.
