Well, when I had my SRT-4, myself and a bunch of friends/club members would get together once a month and install any aftermarket products we purchased that month.
Each person kinda had there own expertise, and would help the owner install- electrical, motor, springs, etc... I was wondering how everyone felt about this, this would be especially helpfull to those who don't really have any tools- Meeting once a month working on each others trucks. Any other ideas like this? How does everyone feel about this idea?
Every man has a tool. It's just a little harder to see your own if your sportin a beer belly. Unless, of course, you happened to be a "member" of the Bobit family...
No, really myid, I think you have a great idea! Unfortunately, I live too far away to show up much. But if I was closer, I would definately be up for that. Hopefully, up here in the North Country, we can eventually do stuff like that to mirror what you are suggesting. A picknpull day picknic would be fun too, if the wrenching events took off as they should. Sounds like a King of the Hill sort of Good Time. Of course beer would have to be a part of the program eh?
Good luck with this idea. I think it is right on track with what this chapter should be doing to reach its potential.

and no, dgassett, not toward you to no tools... well truck tools, not man tool, cringe....
and the only problem with this meet is that some nice person would have to volunteer there home....and tools.... my brother in law probably wouldn't care, but I would have to ask him, he has pretty much every tool known to man.
