I've tried both Motorcraft fuel conditioners, and both seem to work well in my truck. Strictly subjective, I think the Cetane booster version works better, but doesn't have the emulsifier that I need for the winter. Strangely enough it makes my engine quieter even with 45 cetane fuel - at least that's what my local supplier swears it contains. According to my Ford tech (actually used to work for me), both products contain a cetane booster in them. One is a summer version and the other for winter. His advice is to use it with every fill.

4oz per 25 gallons is what is listed on the label.

so add everytime you fill up.

I was at 100,961 and a couple months past 5 years, Ford said no on any help. Bought a warranty from the used dealer that I bought the truck from, which I found out excluded the "emission control components". Just gave up $2800 for a truck barely out of one warranty and uncovered by the other, not a happy person right now.

I`ve got a 2005 6.0 with 80,000. It`s been from Chicago to Utah twice. Chicago to vegas once. Chicago to Colorado once all pulling trailers. I boosted the motor up 100hp and never has it ever been in the shop. Change the oil every 5,000 and ALWAYS add fuel service with every fill-up.

I own a 2003 F250 6.0l it has 94,000 miles on it. It has had the eng replaced 1 time 3 turbos, twice had the heads replaced with newer heads all new engine sensors and wiring harnesses, new oilcooler and several egr coolers all under warranty.when the warranty expired I bypassed the egr cooler got rid of the egr, Installed arp headstuds and next i will replace the turbo with something better aftermarket. I love it when it runs right but when it breaks its a nightmare. I would not wish this engine on my worst enemy and i am a ford tech.

Question Hesitating

I have a 2006 6.0 f350 that hesitates at around 60 to 65 mph anyone have clue what it could be. I was using stanadyne additive and stopped using it for a couple of weeks then I got the hesitation . could it be the fuel at the pump ?
