fiberglass front end *pics*

I got the front end mounted to and lowered the truck jacks to give me a feel of what the ride height will be. I will also be measuring for what size wheels/tires i want in the front.

Could anyone point me in the right direction? It is a Heidts mustang II front end with 2 inch dropped spindles. and from what I have read the springs will settle lower than they are right now as well? Is that true?

thanks!

ben

Ben,

do you have the flip mounted on the hinges ??? have you rotated the hood forward ?? looking at pic # 3 (toward the front thru the fender well... it seems that the front flip is 'almost' right down on the frame rail... do you have room to flip the hood without the valance hitting on the frame rail (and consider that there will be a bumper, right ?)

just trying to forestall any future problems..

the previous owner had made the mount, i will have to take some better pictures of it, however you can flip it forward whouth the valance hitting the frame rail. this is an old picture of how it works:

as you can see, it is kind of like an L shape bracket that goes under the valance and you can "somewhat" see by looking at the front.

it barely clears where the bumper will be mounted.
