diy-injectors

i know this topic has been brough up many a time on this forum, but as i draw closer to actually buying and doing the injector rebuild i have some questions i need answers to. i am at college 5 and 1/2 hours from home and want no issues during my ride and also no issues during the rebuild. about how long does the rebuild take? ive got some stuff to do to my truck while im home for the holidays and im hoping to bang it all out in a couple of days. i am good with the wrenches so to speak and very methodical, are the injectors a hard project? while in there is there anything i should change out, nothing expensive, not minor stuff to look for? also, the fuel pump will be out anything there to do? thanks in advance for the input.

From what I've seen on here it's easy to rebuild the injectors its just time consuming. I plan on do that in the near future, hopefully after x-mas hehe ... if u get it done first let me know how it all goes!!!

anyone out there had the intensifier pistons machined to 180cc? my father works at a jet fuel nozzle plant and could get them machined for me. how much more power will this make? not worth it? it would most likely be free, just sneak them in there on the side.
