high pressure oil crossover

what does the high pressure oil crossover kit do? any performance gains? where can i get one, i saw one at puredieselperformance for $45, any place to get them cheaper?

nah just makes it idle smoother thats all. the only hose i trust is the one from tymar

I was wanting to do that too...what size is the fittings? and will a 5000psi hydraulic hose work?

yea, can it be made at home, if so what if needed? will stainless baided hose work for this, i like the look of it.

Ya need a hose rated @ 4000 psi and at 400 deg. I looked into making my own but unless ya got your own stuff to build hoses....its cheaper to call Dale @Tymar and have him send ya one.
The cross over evens the pressures in the two heads causing a smoother operation. As Jake said no gains performance wise. I have had them on both my 94 and 96 for some time and can't and wont go back! Well worth the 30-40 bucks

i wouldnt build one unless you are very experienced in hyd hoses. if it blows can u say bye bye truck???? it will catch on fire.

how do i get a hold of dale at tymar? also i recall someone saying a time difference as to a courtesy as to when to call, i live in new england i dont want to wake him up.

I just made one witgh the hyd. hoses at work, like mentioned if you got the the crimp fittings and a good quality hose you can make one if you have the crimp machine.

lastly, anyone that decides to make a hose with "reusable" fittings shoulod be carefull, of seen these leak on many applications from hyd systems to power steering systems down to water lines
