there is only a sticker on the drivers side valve cover that has the valve lash and says that it is non-catalyst

Okay

Please reply with:

DSO code
AC or non-AC
Axle ratio
Transmission type

although I do suspect this diagram applies to your truck.

I just need verification.

Wink

Does anyone have a vacuum line diagram for 1978 F250 351m? Ex took my truck apart and trying to get it running right again. Chilton manual doesn't cover all the lines. Have it all together now except running a lil rough, not sure if it is the lines hooked up wrong or carb adjustment. Have adjusted the carb the best I can get it and can tell a have maybe 1 or 2 lines hooked up wrong....sure could use some help from one of you guys out there. Please e-mail a diagram if you have one...Thanks.

Welcome to the site

I'll be happy to supply you with a diagram and probably an illustration.

However,
Maybe Re-read the previous posts and declare what your info is.

saying 1978 F250 351M is NOT enough info as per my previous replies.

Also, maybe start your own thread so an other person thread doesn't get confusing.

EDIT:
an auto trans will be diagram code 7-72-R11

manual trans will be 7-71-R10

Thumbs up you are an angel

Thank you for assistance. Will be working on my truck during lunch hour...keeping my fingers crossed this is the one. Will let you know the outcome. Big Red needs to get some mud on the tires...It is an old fire dept. brush truck. By the way, it is an automatic.
